Written by Leah Thomas, The Intersectional Environmentalist is an introductory book that explores the intersection between environmentalism, racism, and privilege, through the voices of the next generation of activists and advocates fighting for inclusive and transformative change. I wrote several excerpts and contributions throughout the book expanding on ideas of climate justice and its ties to colonialism and imperialism globally.

Edited by Anna Gifty Opoku-Agyeman, The Black Agenda is a collection of essays featuring Black scholars and experts across a range of urgent social justice topics, including economics, education, health, climate, and technology. Along with essayists who include Dr. Sandy Darity, Dr. Hedwig Lee, Mary Heglar, and Janelle Jones, I wrote an essay titled " Intersectional Environmentalism Must Shape Climate Action", which explores the term "intersectional environmentalism" and the insidious environmental, economic, and social issues that must be addressed through this comprehensive lens.
